PROJECT ACTIVITIES

WP01- PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISION

OBJECTIVES
Objective is to ensure effective project coordination.

 

ACTIVITIES
The WP includes information management, liaison with Programme management, administration and communication.

 

RESPONSIBILITY
The LP is responsible for the WP but is supported by a Project Steering Group (PSG), to be set up involving all the partners who coordinate a WP.


WP02 - COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF LOCAL PUBLIC REGULATORY AND ADMINISTRATIVE SYSTEMS AND COMMON PROJECT METHODOLOGY SETTING

OBJECTIVES
Define a comparative grid of the management, regulatory and administrative systems of local public administrations in the FVG, Veneto and Carinthia regions.


ACTIVITIES
1. Carry out a comparative analysis of the management, regulatory and administrative systems of local public administrations in the FVG, Veneto and Carinthia regions

2. Define a model for the analysis of services and customer satisfaction to be used in the following stages.

3. Compilation of a trilingual glossary (German-Italian-English) of the most important terms used in cross-border administrative processes

 

RESPONSIBILITY

Fachhochschule Kärnten is responsible for WP02 coordination and will create a working team with the University of Udine and the University of Padova.

 

WP03 – SET UP AND DEVELOP A SHARED BENCHMARKING AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION MODEL

OBJECTIVES
Set up and develop a shared model and methodology in order to identify good practices and measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the services delivered to citizens and businesses.

 

ACTIVITIES
On the basis of the work completed in WP02, the benchmarking model is designed and validated/tested.
Specifically to define:
a) a mathematical model
b) indicators
c) customer satisfaction model
d) software (LP) necessary to undertake the data processing.

The results will be validated -in progress- by all other partners.
 

RESPONSABILITY
The University of Padova is responsible for WP and will create a working team with the University of Udine and ForSer and Fachhochschule Kärnten.

 

WP04 - MODEL TESTING AND ADOPTION AT LOCAL LEVEL IN SELECTED PILOT CASES

OBJECTIVES
Benchmarking and bench-learning model testing and at local level in order to assess and measure the quality of services and foster continuous improvement processes.

 

ACTIVITIES
Test the model and methodology in order to analyse and measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the services delivered to citizens and businesses in each municipality.

Results of this stage:
a) the undertaking of the benchmarking exercise in each municipality
b) exchange of experiences in the Panel workshop formed by local administration partners
c) learning new policy/public management approaches and the application and purpose of the model.

 

RESPONSIBILITY
The University of Padova is responsible for WP coordination and will create a working team with ForSer, the University of Udine and Fachhochschule Kärnten.

 

WP05 - PROJECT RESULTS’ TRANSFERABILITY AND DISSEMINATION

OBJECTIVES
Promote objectives and results achieved and foster the dissemination and transfer of the model.
 

ACTIVITIES

Design a and undertake awareness raising communication initiatives.
Organise events to foster the dissemination and transfer of the model.

 

RESPONSIBILITY
ANCI FVG is responsible for WP coordination. The University of Padova and Fachhochschule Kärnten will play a specific part in the promotion of the project and dissemination and transfer of the model in respective regions.
