The Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (CUAS) was founded in 1995 and is situated at four locations (Spittal an der Drau, Villach, Klagenfurt, Feldkirchen). Since its foundation CUAS has developed into a unique educational institution in Carinthia. Through constant development of the degree programs and intensive cooperation with the worlds of business and science, the students can be certain of a future-oriented education.
CUAS educates about 2,000 students in about 40 study programs in the fields of management, engineering, healthcare and social issues. Students of CUAS have the possibility to study abroad at one of the about 120 partner universities all over the world.
The School of Management started in 1997 with the degree program “Public Management” and is now one of the fastest growing schools of the university in terms of student numbers, educational programs and R&D activities.
Core competence and main research focus of the School of Management is managing the future of the public and private sector.
